Rosie & Jim - ITV

Filmed on the Kennet and Avon canal at Blake's Lock in Reading during the summer of 1999 'The Steel Band' episode features a newly formed Reading All Steel Percussion Orchestra (RASPO) and Bubbles as the pan maker. The programme was first broadcast on the ITV network in early 2000.

RASPO was made up a mixed age group with mainly children under sixteen. The younger players thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

During 1999 programme makers Ragdoll Productions filmed 20 episodes in Reading for broadcast in 2000. RASPO played the steel drums (pans) with Bubbles demonstrating how they are made and tuned.
