RASPO Steel Orchestra’s Performance and Workshop Marquee at the 41st Reading Carnival at Prospect Park.
Reading Carnival returned to Prospect Park on May Bank Holiday to mark its 41st Anniversary with a carnival for the whole community to enjoy. From processions and floats, beautiful carnival clothing, creative workshops, music, live performers, authentic Caribbean cuisine and more.
The Prospect Park event in Reading took place on May Bank Holiday offering a day of entertainment and sunshine for the thousands of carnival revellers.
RASPO’s Marquee featured performances from the Reading All Steel Percussion Orchestra and opportunities for carnival visitors to see the steel pans up close and have a go and playing these incredible musical instruments. Many signed up for RASPO’s free weekly workshops at Reading College and bookings were made for corporate events, weddings and parties.
