Welcome to Reggae Fridays – a celebration of reggae music with a live band featuring British born Jamaican reggae singer MIKEY GENERAL, legendary Lovers Rock reggae singer Paul Dawkins, singer songwriter and recording artist Andrae Melody Palmer, performing artist Danni Mayers returns to Reggae Fridays along with reggae vocalist regular Errol Kingsley.

Mikey General
British-born Jamaican Mikey General voiced on large Kingston sound systems like Kilamanjaro and Virgo Sounds and later with British sounds like Coxsone International and Saxon. He won ‘performer of the year’ in 1985 with DubVendor produced track “Dancehall Vibes”.
With Luciano he formed Jah Messenjah Productions and Qabalah First Music to ‘provide people with spiritual uplifting music in these times of degradation’.
Birmingham based Danni Mayers is a gifted and versatile vocalist who has worked with reggae legends Sugar Minott and Tristan Palmer and has 20 years of performing experience.
With his rich soulful vocals Errol Kingsley is a well established UK based reggae singer. His distinctive voice sees his live performances well received by appreciative audiences.
Andrae Melody Palmer is a talented singer songwriter with established music production and acting skills. The Brixton based former front man for Gospel Soul trio Nu-Soul also played Michael Jackson in the ‘Thriller Live’ musical and now regularly performs live.
Showcase Events headline established international reggae artists with the best upcoming reggae talent. Open Mic Sessions welcomes all to take the stage with a live band.
