Each Christmas RASPO Steel Orchestra presents a series of annual outdoor Calypso and Carols concerts featuring seasonal songs with a Caribbean twist.
From a calypso version of Jingle Bells to a reggae style Joy to the World the concert delights Christmas Lights switch on events across the country as well as regaling shoppers in Reading’s Broad Street outside The Oracle Shopping Centre.

The fundraising events entertains Reading’s festive shoppers encouraging them to take a break and enjoy some sunshine festive music.
The generosity of donations from visitors and shoppers along with the sale of CDs enables CultureMix to support and maintain free places for young people to attend RASPO music workshops.
