The Reggae Collective is a vibrant Reading based hub of talented musicians and vocalists creating a dynamic live reggae showcase event.
The Reggae Collective continues to grow as a vibrant Reading based hub of musical talent, bringing together passionate musicians and vocalists to craft an electrifying live reggae showcase.
Through regular rehearsals, the group is not just preparing for performance, it’s building a powerful, collaborative sound rooted in creativity, culture, and community.
Guiding this journey is musical director and reggae singer songwriter Jnr Watson, whose leadership, mentorship, and artistic vision shape the collective’s direction. Alongside is co-musical director Derick Andrews providing dedicated support to the instrumentalists, ensuring the band continues to evolve musically.
Vocal development is nurtured by veteran performer Errol Fenton, whose experience brings depth and confidence to the singers. The vocalists also benefit from specialist masterclasses with acclaimed singer Tahirah Andrews, adding polish and performance excellence to their craft.
Show director is CultureMix Arts lead Mary Genis whose insight and guidance is instrumental in shaping the collective’s work into a compelling live experience strengthened by industry expertise from Kris Kemist of Reality Shock Records.
As the group moves closer to upcoming performances, The Reggae Collective stands as a testament to the power of collaboration, mentorship, and the enduring spirit of reggae.
