Reggae Collective

Reading Reggae Collective was set up in 2020 to encourage more people to experience playing with a live reggae band for public performances.

For 2025 the Reggae Collective focused on artist development with original songwriting and studio production, content creation, advertising and marketing.
Open Jam Open Mic nights showcased the Reggae Collective band and the best guest musicians who joined forces to back a series of talented singers hosted by reggae singer Jnr Watson.

For 2026 the focus for the live band and vocalists is the Reggae Collective Showcase. A live performance featuring all your favourite reggae covers courtesy of the Reggae Collective singers led by reggae artist host Jnr Watson, vocalist Errol Kingsley with guitarist Derick Andrews as the band leader. Reality Shock Records continues to host Sound System Veterans nights of reggae, revival, roots, dub, rub-a-dub, lovers and dancehall music. Featuring fresh talent, new releases and special guest artists on the mic including Solo Banton, Deadly Hunta, Mikey Murka and many more.
