Photographer Gill G Sinclair stepped out onto the streets of Reading to connect with ordinary Black residents going about their day to capture their images for her Ordinary People, Extraordinary Heritage exhibition.
By photographing the Black people who make up our community, she wanted to create an inclusive, democratic collection where everyone feels welcome and valued.
The ‘Ordinary People, Extraordinary Heritage’ photography exhibition is a celebration of our town’s true, everyday diversity.
