Join RASPO Steel Orchestra at London Notting Hill Carnival and volunteer as a Steward on Sunday 30 and Monday 31 August 2026. Register here.
We are looking for volunteer stewards to support the band and team for this celebratory 60th anniversary event.
The dates are Sunday 30 and Monday 31 August 2026. Choose one or both days.
Stewards must be 18 or over. No previous experience needed, full briefing provided in advance and on the event day.
Steward responsibilities:
– Ensure only RASPO members and team have access to the float and support vehicle
– Help RASPO members get off and on the float using the ladder only when the lorry is stationary
– Help to keep the roped off area for RASPO T-Shirt Masqueraders, flag bearers and players only

Please note the transport departs from central Reading at 6am on both days., returning before midnight.
