Nathifa Jordan joins the Board of national charity Youth Music as one of three new trustees.
Youth Music invests in music-making projects which support children and young people aged 0-25 to develop personally and socially as well as musically with an annual turnover of £10m.
Youth Music resonates with Nathifa’s ambitions to support young people through music whilst developing their business skills.
After ten years as the part time administrator, project coordinator and PA to the Artistic Director Nathifa became the full time Business Manager at CultureMix Arts in 2017.
Now the Business Director Nathifa leads the strategic development of the company at senior management level.
She is a trustee on the Board of the East Midlands Caribbean Carnival Arts Network joining in 2019. EMCCAN is a partnership between Derby, Leicester and Nottingham Caribbean Carnivals and Northampton Carnival.
Nathifa is also an in house Hustle & Heels facilitator. Hustle & Heels is a business training and support platform set up to foster entrepreneurial excellence among ambitious business owners.
Nathifa’s broad range of skills and experiences helps to raise awareness of realistic employment opportunities in the cultural sector.
