A third CD from RASPO, an international artist residency in Sri Lanka, a new Business and Administration Manager, and a place on Arts Council England’s National Portfolio.
For 2016 CultureMix moved to Reading College launching Carnival of the World with RASPO performances at Notting Hill Carnival and the Royal Albert Hall.
2015 saw the launch of the Peace and Love Concerts, the second Schools Steel Band Festival and the continuation of RASPO’s summer carnival project.
2014 brought many positive benefits for CultureMix and RASPO including two major new projects: Schools Steel Band Festival and RASPO Summer Carnival Steel Band project.
2013 was a positive year with a move for RASPO to South Street Arts Centre and more honours for the work of the artistic director and the CultureMix team.
The year RASPO performed for the Showtime Festival at the London Olympic and Paralympic Games, and at the Royal Albert Hall. 2012 – a year like no other.
For 2011 CultureMix continued to thrive with international collaborations, support for the School for Steel Pan Music and resident steel band Reading All Steel Percussion Orchestra.
The 2010 annual review sees CultureMix’s move to a new space at Watlington Hall and RASPO Steel Orchestra entering the Notting Hill Carnival UK Steelband Championship for the first time.
