CultureMix is delighted to receive £80,000 from the Culture Recovery Fund. It will help us to remain sustainable, retain our workforce and future proof our portfolio.
The fund will prepare CultureMix to fully re-open in April 2021 with a programme of digital activity including media channels, podcasts, online courses and a virtual stage.
Iconic arts venues and cultural organisations across the UK got a £75 million boost from Government’s Culture Recovery Fund with 70 per cent of awards outside London.
The Culture Recovery Fund (CRF) grants programme administered by Arts Council England was established by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) to help the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic and to ensure the cultural sector has a sustainable future.
Other culture recovery grants recipients in Reading Berkshire include Reading Arts, Readipop, Jelly, MERL, Berkshire Maestros, Reading Arts and Venues, Reading Rep and The Jazz Cafe.
“We are delighted to receive a grant and thankful to the DCMS and Arts Council England. This investment will help CultureMix to retain our talent, adapt our portfolio and protect our organisation so we can rebuild and strengthen our creative work and continue to support our people into a more positive future.”
