Join our Steel Band workshops and learn to play steel pan music with RASPO. Families, children, young people, all ages and abilities welcome.
Our fun filled steel band workshops take place on Tuesdays. Under 16’s are free of charge. Over 16’s cost £7.50 per session with discounts for block bookings.
Please note that Beginner Steel Band workshops are open to everyone. We also run a Bootcamp programme for invited talented players from the Beginner group and from our school steel bands who prepare to join RASPO by learning songs from the orchestra’s repertoire.

Join our weekly steel band beginner workshops where you can learn to play steel pan music with RASPO.
Learn about steel pans and improve your music knowledge. Ideal for absolute beginners these workshops offer a gateway to a range of music activity with CultureMix Arts.
All instruments and equipment provided. You can book all available dates in advance:
Tuesdays 5.30-6.30pm. Over 16’s £7.50. Under 16’s FREE
Course #20 is 6 weeks from 17 September to 22 October 2024. Tickets will be available early September.
