Join our Steel Band workshops and learn to play steel pan music with RASPO. Families, children, young people, all ages and abilities welcome.
Our fun filled steel band workshops take place on Tuesdays. Under 16’s are free of charge. Over 16’s cost £10 per session.
Please note that Beginner Steel Band workshops are open to any age from 7 years. Younger children (7-9 years) must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the lesson.
We also run a Bootcamp programme for invited talented players from the Beginner group and from our school steel bands who prepare to join RASPO by learning songs from the orchestra’s repertoire.

Learn about steel pans and improve your music knowledge. Ideal for absolute beginners these workshops offer a gateway to a range of music activity with CultureMix Arts.
All instruments and equipment provided. Children aged 7-9 must be accompanied by an adult.
