Our Reggae Fridays is an evening of entertainment with a live band and featuring The Reading Reggae Collective.
Originally set up by award winning producer Don Chandler the event features talented reggae vocalists like Jnr Watson, Teshay Makeda, Errol Kingsley, Rafeelya and Peter Hunnigale.
Backed by a live band with some of the UK’s best reggae musicians including drummer Carl ‘Carlalou’ Benjamin (The Wailers, Julian Marley, Lee Perry, Dawn Penn), keyboard player Cyrus ‘Monkites’ Richard (Black Uhuru, Mighty Diamonds, Abyssinians), and Reggae Collective stalwart guitarist Derick Andrews (Boney M, Aqua Livi).
The bar opens from 7pm with a sizzling selection of Caribbean beers, spirits and soft drinks with selecta DJ Lou Mulato spinning tunes in between acts.
