Reading Reggae Collective presents the History of Reggae Music at the Purple Turtle Bar on Friday 10 December.

From 1960’s to the present day the singers and players of the Reading Reggae Collective will take you on the journey of reggae music with old school favourites and a seasoning of original material to showcase Reading’s reggae music talent.

Grammy Award winning music producer Don Chandler is the musical director ensuring well crafted renditions from singers including BBC1Xtra’s David Rodigan favourites Indra and Jnr Watson backed up by Yvonne Anson and Lea Kidd. On guitars are Reality Shock record producer Kris Kemist and Derick Andrews. Drums and keyboards is courtesy of L2R boyband musicians Jamah and Jajiii. 

So no no no don’t stay away, come for one dance and soothe your soul on a journey through the History of Reggae Music !
